The Given Brief

With the task of creating a wine bottle label we had to create a design that was visually appealing from a distance and up close on the shelf. The design had to include an illustration with a name that could be made into a design for display on the bottle lid, front and back label.

The Mood & Concept

Starting with Rosé being my chosen type of wine I created a name and design that represented this. Using the name “Rosy Cheeks” gave me a clear direction when creating my design.

The figure I drew is a simple line illustration that I first hand drew, before bringing it

into Adobe Illustrator to vectorise it. The illustration is made up of a range of pink tones with added green for the stem of the rose. This provided a clear style that flowed well across my whole design and comunicated the type of wine to the viewer.
